Hier ist also meine Karte:

Kitten in Love / Gerda Steiner Designs Guest Design Post

Hello everybody and happy Friday!

I feel so honored to tell you that Gerda from GerdaSteinerDesigns ask me to make a Guest Design Post (plus Interview!) for her blog. You can read the full blog post right over here!
I made a card for her using her super duper cute Digi Stamp "Kitten in love" and also made again a short Fast Motion video from the process!
So, here's the card:

Aren't these kitties cute???
I wanted to create the perfect Rendezvous night sky scene for these two.

First of all, I printed them on a heaver piece of white cardstock and die cut it out with the outer frame die cut. Then I placed a smaller frame die cut inside that piece and partial die cut it. That way, I was able to create a frame without cutting out the kittens.

I colored the kittens and the frame with copic markers and then made that background with Distress Inks and a blending tool.
After that dried, I white-embossed the sentiment in the top left corner and sprinkled some water on the whole background paper piece to make it look like kind of a starry night sky.

And because I just can't get enough, I turned everything into a Shakercard! Acetate on the back of the kitten frame and Foam Tape on it, some sequins on the background - and it was done! :)

And as promised: my short Clip of the making process:

Flower Power Skunkie

Congrats, Nerdy Kitten!

Hello everyone!

Today, I have a card for you with GerdaSteinerDesigns new digi stamp "Nerdy kitten"! Isn't it cute?

The white background is made out of various little stamps from Lawn Fawns "Soo much to say". I stamped them with Lawn Fawndamentals Ink "Hippo" and colored them in a pale grey tone.

I also added a little graduating hat on his head (I don't know the real expression for it in english.. it's the hat when you're graduating from school/college) and some glossy accents on his glasses.

JessicaLynnOriginal Design Team Blog Hop

Welcome to the Start of Summer Design Team Showcase Blog Hop created by the JessicaLynnOriginal June 2015 – January 2016 Design Team!

Today we are featuring projects using the Brentwood Owl's Summertime Fun digital stamp that really showcase and introduce our members! This fun stamp captures that summer vacation or holiday feel and can be used in many ways. Put your feet up and grab a cool drink to sip as you travel along the hop, getting inspired by the different takes from each of our designers. If you are coming from Jeanette's blog, then you're in the right place.

I knew from the very beginning that I wanted to create a summer-beach-scene. Little Brentwood with his cute cocktail in his hand literally screams for a beach on which he wants to stand on ;)
And because it is still sooooooo rainy and dark outside (I mean: hello Mr. Weather, it is May!), that was a perfect afternoon project. I even turned some summer-beach music on, haha!

First of all, I looked for some nice pattern paper pieces to create a caribbean sea with a golden beach, to get a tropical feeling.. through and through!

For the background of the card, I used Distress Ink "broken china" on the edges and "tumbled glass" in the middle of the sky. But before I went over it with my blending tool, I die cut some clouds out of Mask paper, which I placed on the card before going over it with the color. That way, you'll get some nice blank clouds on a blue sky background.

I cut out a little banner and painted it in yellow and then stamped the sentiment "hello sunshine" (Lawn Fawn) on it.
As a finishing touch, I took some fluffy cotton wool and glued them on the clouds. This creates a 3D effect and the clouds look much more realistic and fun.

That Digi Stamp is now available fro FREE! So check out JessicaLynnOriginal's Website!

New Mama Elephant Release May 2015!

Hello again :)

Now I want to show you my very first card with Mama Elephants new Stampset "Woodland gifts".
I think it is totally awesome! So many cute critters and beautiful sentiments!
They came out this month with four absolut fabulous stamp sets! I hope that I'll be able to show you the new set "Playful Pups" soon. This is going to be an overload in cuteness, I swear!

I made a watercolor background with Distress Inks on white embossed stars.
And (for sure!) behind a piece of black cardstock.

Don't you think this little cutiepie is just gorgeous? I want to cuddle him!
And how matching is that?!?! Mama Elephant released a whole new letter stampset plus a bunch of sentiments with the same style of lettering like my blog logo, haha. I'm deep deep in love with that font!

And because I really love to make Fast Motion Videos with my phone, I decided to make from now on videos of my card making process! You can see the video for this card HERE on my Youtube Channel "Wiwicard", or right over here:

Washi Tape Card

Hello everyone :)

Today, I have two great cards to share with you! At first the difficult one... the current Lawnscaping Challenge has the theme "new techniques" and because I am so new in all this, nearly anything is a new technique for me :D

But I thought about a technique which I didn't used before. And that's Washi Tape!
I grabbed out the fabulous Lawn Fawn Die Cut "Happy birthday border die", because I wanted to combine my Washi Card with a shaker effect. Shaker Cards are also not my preferred technique, I don't know why... maybe because it wastes so much foam tape, haha silly me.

Anyway! I only die cut the words "happy birthday", because the whole sentiment wouldn't have fit the size of the card and I think it also looks pretty this way.

Adding the Washi Tape Stripes was so much fun! It is just so easy and playful and... just a really quick way to get a colorful background!

I made this little blue narwhale out of Washi Tape too! I put a bit Copic Coloring on the top so that you can see at least a bit of shading. But when I saw him together with the card, I decided to add another one. So that it doesn't look so messy and full of patterns. Now, Mr. and Mrs. Narwhale are wishing a happy birthday!

At the end, I put Foam Tape behind the card and add some sequins for the little shaker window on the top. Then I put it on some black cardstock. I am in love with black backgrounds currently... don't ask me why, I just love the look of it so much!

Pig smiles and hugs

Happy Sunday!

I've got two piggy-love cards for you today. Both of them are Digistamps from GerdaSteinerDesigns and I can tell you: these little pigs are so so precious!

My first card is with Mr. Pig in the envelope on a Distress Ink Nightsky.

The second card is a bit more... groovy ? I put several layers of pattern paper on a white background with some blue/black water splashes.
The piggy holds some balloons in its hand, which I die cut from Paper Smooches "balloon dies".

It moose be a truly good friend!

Hello again!

I wanted to share with you the result of my yesterdays Copic-Coloring-Fever! I am normally the last person that likes to color critters. I think it takes so much time and I'm not a patient person.. I would prefer to get the critters already colored in :D
Anyway! Yesterday was an abnormal day and I thought about a matching scene for that moose. And a forest seemed so perfect!

I used the moose from Lawn Fawns "Critters in the arctic" and the trees, the hedgehog, the mushrooms and the sentiment from "Critters in the forest".
Everything got colored with Copic Markers. What a hard work for me! But somehow I'm now a little proud of myself that I did it until it was finished, haha.

At the end, I put the forestscene on some Lawn Fawn "Beachside" pattern paper and added little banners with its sentiment on the top right side of the card.

Birthday Party!

Hello everyone :)

I wanted to share with you one birthday card, which I made the other day using again Gerda Steiner Design stamps! I printed three Digistamps behind each other to get a scene which looks like the critters are guests for a birthday party. You have SO many possibilities in building up scenes with the .png files of the Digistamps. It just makes my creative heart jump.

For the watercolored background, I used the Distress Inks "broken china", "evergreen bough" and "cracked pistacchio".

The critters are (as always..) colored with Copic Markers and the sentiment under the furry party pals is from Lawn Fawns "So much to say".

Squirrel or Skunk?

Hello everybody,

Yesterday, I finally had the time to play with one of Gerda Steiner Designs Digistamps! I felt head over heels in love with her Digistamps when I first saw some of them on Instagram. Have you checked them out? I can tell you: so much cuteness!

I first picked the little Skunk Stamp and built up a summer scene. I don't know why, but somehow I colored the skunk in brown colors... I realized too late that the little cutie was supposed to be a skunk and not a squirrel, ouch!

Anyway, this how my card for today turned out :)
And because it matches so well, I will be adding it to the current May Challenge of GerdaSteinerDesigns.

Summer moose

Hello everybody!

Today was such a happy day! I received my Simon Says Stamp order with lot's of awesome goodies and also one little package from the awesome Sharon. I won at her 300 Subscriber giveaway over at Instagram. And she sent me some really cute goodies next to the most amazing winter stampset! "Critters in the Arctic" from Lawn Fawn. I just HAD to use it immediately :)

I thought about a possibility to use the cute moose for a non-winter card.. and my idea was to create a lake-mountain-summer scene .. Canada.. kind of.. something!
I used different Distress Inks to watercolor the image.

And because it matches so well, I decided to participate with this Card also at the current Lawnscaping Challenge!

Kreative Ideen kommt herbei geflogen. Hier ist also meine erste Kreation soweit:

Yesterday was such a happy day! I received my very first Create a Smile stamps! My crafty friend Birka over at MitHerzundSchere made SO many beautiful cards with this stampset. She was the reason I had to get the "Botanical Love" for myself :) And it was the best choice!

I colored in the beautiful flowers and leaves with my Copics and placed the card sheet on some black cardstock (again..).
As an addition, I used the second Create a Smile Stampset "Hey, Quatschkopf!", which I got yesterday, for my sentiment and embossed it with white Embossingpowder.

Watercolor Foxy

I finally finished my Card for the current Lawnscaping Challenge with the theme "Watercolor"!
That's really not my favorite technique.. but it was a lot fun to try it out again and experiment a bit with the different colors :)

I used my Distress Inks "Tattered Rose", "Mustard Seed" and "Cracked Pistachio" for the background. After it dried, I used a star stencil to go over it again with "Mustard Seed" and my blending tool.

I used the little cute Foxy from Lawn Fawns "Critters in the forest", colored him with Copics and then stamped and embossed the "thank you" sentiment from Lawn Fawns "So much to say" on black cardstock. I cut it all out and put some foam tape behind.

And because I'm so deep in love with black cardstock as my background... I had to use it again this time :)

Over the moon with Mama Elephant

Hello everybody!

Today, I've got a card for you which was inspired by Nicole Gavaldons (Lawn Fawn DT) card with its cute hamsters right in front of the moon. She created such a beautiful scene! And I wanted to try it out as well, because I just LOOOOVED it!

So here's how my card turned out:

I used some Distress Inks on some watercolor paper for the dark blue background and the green grass. The moon is colored out of watercolors.. with some soft tones like yellow and grey and LOTS of water!

I stamped the little critters with Memento "Tuxedo black" and colored them with Copics.
To get this fabulous shadow look, I went over the critters with grey tones (Copic C3, C5). I also colored a shadow in front of the critters on the grass.. so that it looks like the light comes from behind.

At least, I drew some white dots on the background with a white Gel pen. Does it look like stars or more like snowflakes????!!?

Anyway, I had A LOT of fun with this project and I think it turned out pretty good. Thank you Nicole for that great instruction!
